It’s loud and vibrant in all the right ways, calm where it counts, and welcoming to everyone.

- “Dumpster” Dan McMeldoon

Railway Barber Shop was built to feel real the second you walk through the door. Graffiti on the walls. Pinball machines chiming in the background. Low-brow art everywhere. Punk rock, jazz, and yacht rock on the speakers.  Skateboard VHS tapes, Kung-Fu, or 1980’s cartoons playing on the tv. Is it a clubhouse or a barber shop? Well, both…

It’s loud and vibrant in all the right ways, calm where it counts, and welcoming to everyone. This is the place for top tier barbering with a vibe that only Hunter S. Thompson himself could eloquently describe.

Railway was founded in early 2021 by Brian Eugene Maxson, who built the shop from the ground up with a simple goal: create a barbershop that does things the right way.  Every detail.  Every time.

Brian brings over 20 years of trade experience as a licensed barber and you can see it in every detail of the space, from the vibe, to the conversational flow,  to how every service is executed flawlessly by every barber.  Every time.

Only the finest barbers are chosen to work at Railway.  No slackers here. Regardless of whose chair you sit in, you are guaranteed the same high caliber service and perfectionist touch that you are paying for.  Every time.

We specialize in modern haircuts, precision beard trims, and straight-razor face shaves done the traditional way with hot lather, steam towels, witchhazel, and talc. No rush jobs. No cookie cutter cuts. Just skilled hands, honest work, and respect for the craft.

When you step into Railway Barber Shop the noise of the world outside fades out and you know you’ve found your place.  Welcome home.
